OH YEAH , now it's for real and for sure … DURACELL DJ from Indianapolis , Indiana , USA is coming to be a guest of LFO and to perform in club KUCA on 28. February 2002 . At the same time this is the great come back in club KUCA for Belgrade Electro - Industrial Clubbing .
Gretchen Banning aka Copper Top / Duracell DJ is the fame Mid USA promoter and DJ that is credited for all gothic / industrial scene in that region since 1991 . Her present label 3D.Prod.Prom ( She is a founder ) have many cooperative relations with many labels and bands . THE BELGRADE ELECTRO / DARK / WAVE CLUBBING is growing from day to day

The great news for all ELECTRO / DARK / WAVE fans again …. The pilot DARK / NEW WAVE night which took place to happen in Club - FILI will be happening once per month !!! People that worked on this have realized that their project was even more than successful and they have decided to proceed with this …. The Guests in the last LFO radio program were DJ Paun and Dragana ( only the part of Dark / New Wave DJ Team ) that have had a lot to tell our listeners about future plans for this project . Club FILI was pretty crowded when this DJ Team was playing with the pilot night so that we had a lot of questions for them .The next DARK / NEW WAVE Party will be happening on 16. February ( Saturday ) 2002 .
We are close to establish the great cooperation with DARK/ NEW WAVE DJ Team of club FILI ….

T.O.Y. popular boys

T.O.Y. are working on new tracks in their studio and have already finished several demos. In the meantime the band saw its "The Dream with me" videoclip added to a special DVD compilation in the United States. The DVD compilation is on rotation in all Hard Rock Cafes, bars, department stores and clubs all over the USA. Included on the disc are acts like Garbage, Chemical Brohters, Nine inch Nails, Goldfrapp, DJ Tiesto and... N'Sync. Also included is the older Evil´s Toy videoclip of "Virtual State".

COVENANT plays in Grece

The greek scene rejoices as Big Star Promotion presents Covenant live in concert on two occasions: Friday March 1st and 2nd, respectively at Thessaloniki (Idrogeios Club) and Athens (Rodon Club). Opening acts will be Iambia in Thessaloniki and Bodyworks and Alpha P in Athens. Tickets are € 20. More info will be spread on the Dreamhouse (94.1 FM). The show is broadcasted every Wednesday and Friday afternoon at 19:30.

Exclusive RATIONAL YOUTH split

Sad news reached us yesterday afternoon, when Rational Youth aka Tracy Howe and Jean-Claude Cutz sent us a statement saying they were to call it quits. In a reaction the band said: "We have decided that it is time to retire and put the name Rational Youth to rest. Accordingly, there will be no further recordings by Rational Youth, and plans (along with work that was in progress) for a new album have been scrapped." Likewise the band will not undertake any further touring in the future, "although we will leave open the possibility that we might get together temporarily at some point to appear live as Rational Youth - if the spirit moves us and the occasion is special - but in any case, the band has officially ceased operations."

SIGLO XX reunit

As you could read in previous Side-Line news, Siglo XX guitar player Antonio Palermo formed a new band, The Honeymoon Cowboys. Now comes the news that Siglo XX is to reform after 13 years of silence. Although Siglo XX officially never split up, they did not play since 1989, the same year they released "Under a Purple Sky". According to Antonio Palermo, they "forgot to plan a new rehearsal...". Let's hope we'll see this band live at work very soon!

Limited aberrated signs for HOCICO

"Signos de aberracion" is the newest album for the Mexican duo Hocico, to be released on February 11th. Hocico took two-and-a-half years time to produce and fine-tune their new album "Signos de Aberracion". Also expected on Out Of Line, the band's label, is a box (see detail) containing the regular CD and a special bonus-cd, entitled "Silent Wrath", with alternative versions / remixes from the album.
