TRENCHTOWN MUSIC FESTIVAL 2002

23-25 August

Now it's definite that Subotica ( Palic's Lake ) will host one of the biggest alternative music festivals this year in this part of europe that will last 3 days . Work for this festival to be happening took very long time . COLD TRINITY has been involved for this project to contact the bands abroad and do its best for providing information about this project . As we said SIDE LINE MAGAZINE offered to be the main online sponsor for this festival and it helped alot . Festival will have 3 stages for live performing including over 35 bands from Yugoslavia and abroad of various music genres such Techno , Reggae , Hard Core , Industrial ... Industrial stage will include the most important domestic names of local Electro Scene along with bands from abroad . Official promotion for this event in Belgrade will start at the beginning of August . Pre order tickets for this festival will cost 600 dinars ( 10 euros ) , camp place during 3 days of the festival will be included in ticket price . At the special promotional parties for the festival in Belgrade the pre order tickets will cost 570 dinars . Tickets at the day of the festival will cost 300 dinars ( 5 euros ) for one day and 900 dinars ( 15 euros ) for all three days . Almost all bands from YU accepted to play live at the promotional parties in belgrade so that we expect many fans to visit Palic's Lake in August . Unfortunately it's impossible to get some foreign bands to play in Belgrade at any of these parties for now . Here is the complete list of the bands who will perform on INDUSTRIAL STAGE : Playing on Friday, 23rd are The Sepia ( ebm / industrial ) UK , I'M ( electro ) YU , Kinovia ( neo folk / cold wave ) YU , Trans Mission ( industrial ) YU and Severe Illusion ( ebm / industrial ) SWEDEN . On Saturday 24th you can expect gigs by Black Sheep Screaming ( industrial ) YU , Culture Kultur ( ebm / future pop ) SPAIN , Endymion ( ebm / future pop ) YU and Epiphany ( electro wave ) YU . Finally on Sunday 25th you'll be able to see Allied Vision ( industrial ) SPAIN , Cue ( electro ) YU , Corrosion ( acid industrial ) YU and Mono-ton ( old school industrial ) YU .

LONG TIME NO SEE

HELLO DEAR FRIENDS

( Industrial Festival Subotica 2002 , Belgrade Clubbing , ENDYMION & Tonedeaf Records , CUE ( ex Waveform ) & Tonedeaf Records , Cold Trinity zine , … )

Yeah , first of all we have to apologize we didn't update info frequently … The main reason of it were the lack of time and frequent changing of plans … There are some big projects we are working on … The most important thing among that is the festival which will happen in late August 2002 in Subotica … Again Side Line made great work with their online info about whole project making this festival pretty interesting for all the fans and bands from abroad ….
In the meantime COLD TRINTY is going on with its activity all over Belgrade …Well known party's at FILI are stopped until new clubbing season starts in belgrade . We expect it will start by October … Unfortunately , COLD TRINITY ELECTRO INDUSTRIAL PARTY including I'M live performing happened without I'M gig … Officials of club FILI refuse to accept concert even we announced it half month before … In that so unfair way many fans suffered once again because of stupidity and ignorance by local R'N'R guitar Hendrix/Zepelin/Deep Purple and what else mother fucker club owners … I am sick of them and their eternal and unchanged stupid style … Well , in spite of being let down by it we did party over there ….. It went very well but with HUGE technical problems of their sound system … It was horrible to work with it answering to fan questions about so poor sound …

ENDYMION did a great work with its very first ( self-released ) album " Water " … I have never had any doubt about their quality and it's not so surprising when one US Industrial Label offered a contract to them …. Of course Endymion signed for Tondeaf Records from Philadelphia , US and the best way to celebrate was making live performing for all fans and friends … On May 1 at ( the best club for Electronic Music ) KUCA , COLD TRINITY and ENDYMION did great Electro Industrial Party … As a support EPIPHANY performed new material finished in the last couple of months … For Djing were involved DJ Zlaya supported by Darko ( club KUCA ) …

The Fantastic Neo Folk Band from Jagodina , KINOVIA , played live in Belgrade at the place called " Manakova Kuca " on 20 July this year organised by COLD TRINITY . KINOVIA made a mark and opened the new epoha for this music genre . No one hasn't chance to stay peacefull and unamazed by KINOVIA's performing . With almost acoustic playing , that night was totally devoted to them while KINOVIA was devoted to their fans . Needless to say it was the one of the best concerts we ever attended .

There are more news related to Tonedeaf Records … There is great news about their new upcoming CD compilations and albums … Duracell DJ ( our dearest friend who performed with us in late February 2002 at KUCA ) is finishing its first official CD mix for one Label ( Tonedeaf Records ) … At the same time it will be FIRST EVER official Industrial DJ mix released by any Label … The second news is related to Belgrade Electro Project CUE ( ex Waveform ) … Their fantastic club killer hit READY TO WAR is to be included on new upcoming Tonedeaf Records CD compilation along with ENDYMION who waits releasing of their debut by the end of this year … We hope CUE will sign for Tonedeaf Records too …

The second number of COLD TRINITY Fanzine is released and fans who showed at FILI at our last party there were able to get copy of it for free … In order to promote and inform about local Electro Scene in the best possible way … Cold Trinity decided to write fanzine that will include all info about current work by local bands and upcoming happenings in the near future …… again we call all interested ones who want to their news be announced or written there to fell free and contact us ….
